Check out the new search layout

We thought it was a good idea when Stevo wished for a better markup of search results.
So please find the new layout enabled for the search field and give us some feedback. Hope this will make your daily lookup a bit faster and more fun :-)

Update, 2010-06-04:
- new colorcoding system to distinct searchresults even better :-)
- checkout the search vessel browser integration

took VT almost two weeks to copy this nice code for the better designed live search feature, which we introduced last year. I was wondering, if people realize the color codes for names (blue), IMO (orange) and MMSI numbers (green) inside the search results? For us, that is the cream inside the cake…. :-)
To try it out yourself, just paste “1111″ inside the search field.

@Ian: I am still trying to figure out what makes ATLS and Belina appear in the list…

Don’t forget, to add the search facility to your browser this realy is the icing on the cake.If you want to find vessel details no need to bring up the site just type in the details in the search image and up it comes.Outstanding!

Great new system I love it. There are times when you are not quite sure of a name or its spelling and have to plough through pages of posibilities. This system makes it so easy. Well done team.

    Hi Lars,
Two small problems in your example:-
1 ATLS 9701 & Belina do not contain “AIDA”
2 on using your example, when clicking on a vessel, the previous one is found.
