FleetMon at SMM 2022 in Hamburg: Thank You!

in Events, Updates, Press by

We presented ourselves for the first time with our own stand at the SMM (Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine Technology trade fair) in Hamburg. Here is our conclusion.

The FleetMon team says thank you!

Before SMM started, FleetMon and Navisense invited to the exclusive AIS Creator Dinner at the restaurant Eppendorfer Insel on Monday. We took the opportunity to bring leaders and experts of the AIS industry together to discuss current trends and developments. In a relaxed atmosphere, with cool drinks and a great BBQ, all participants had the chance for personal exchange and networking after a break of two years.

The AIS Creator Dinner was a great success.

Thank you for accepting our invitation and making the AIS Creator Dinner a fantastic evening.

SMM 2022 in Hamburg Kicks Off

Tuesday was the day. The SMM 2022 opened its doors. The FleetMon team moved into their booth 442 in hall B6. Under the motto Ocean Freight Visibility, FleetMon CEO Lars Brandstäter, Director Business Development Darren Caldwell, Head of Research and Development Carsten Hilgenfeld, and Sales Director Adrian Barnes presented the latest pricing and plans as well as FleetMon’s outstanding products.

Lars Brandstäter: “We used the SMM as an opportunity to finally meet friends and customers in person again after the two-year forced break due to corona, as well as to make new contacts. Personal exchange is and remains simply indispensable.”

We were incredibly proud of the visit of State Secretary Hendrik Schulte. He attended at our booth on Wednesday and gave us the chance to present FleetMon as the global leader in vessel tracking and maritime data providing.

F.l.t.r.: Sven Zylla (State Chancellery Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), André Neumann (FleetMon), State Secretary Hendrik Schulte, Lars Brandstäter (FleetMon), Carsten Hilgenfeld (FleetMon), Katrin Caldwell (Maritime Cluster Northern Germany e. V.) and Gesine Kröpelin (Ministry of Economy).

The SMM was a great chance for FleetMon to present ourselves at the world’s leading trade fair for the maritime industry. The number of visitors at our booth exceeded our expectations. We met many existing customers in person, had interesting conversations, and learned a lot about new products and innovations in the industry. In addition, we shared information with other experts about what is going on in the industry. For example, we learned how manufacturers deal with supply problems in the current situation. And, most importantly, we were able to win many new partners. Thank you to everyone who visited us and wanted to know more about FleetMon.
