Almost 2000 registered users in a couple months, changing twice the servers because of the load and setting up a dozen antennas ourselfs made us busy beside the regular job workload.

A bug in the open source software “cacti”, used for statistical monitoring, made it possible to compromise the server and kept our admin busy for a couple hours. Read the story about “zombies” here (sorry, only in german)
We’ve been online again since 11:00.
The cargo ship “Omer N” capsized in the Baltic Sea on 2007-10-28 15:02. Only 4 of 11 crew members could be rescued by danish and german helicopters and vessels.
